This course provides an overview of First Aid and CPR techniques for Day Camp Monitors / Counselors. The course covers the skills necessary to preserve life, prevent further injuries, and care for the consequences of injury until more advanced medical personnel respond.

This course is for camps where the child is present for extended periods.

8 hour course
3 year certification in Child Care First Aid and CPR
Includes CPR Level A+
Includes Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
Conducted by a certified instructor

Who should attend?

Any employee in the Day Camp field. No prerequisite is required.

How do I prepare?

You should dress comfortably (you will be practicing CPR on the floor).
Bring a pen for note taking.
