This course provides an overview of First Aid and CPR techniques for Daycare workers. The course covers the skills necessary to preserve life, prevent further injuries, and care for the consequences of injury until more advanced medical personnel respond.

8 hour course, as per Quebec Government Regulations
3 year certification in Child Care First Aid and CPR
Includes CPR Level A+
Includes Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and EpiPen certification
Conducted by a certified instructor

Who should attend?

Any employee in the Daycare field. No prerequisite is required.

How do I prepare?

You should dress comfortably (you will be practicing CPR on the floor).
Bring a pen for note taking.

Obstructed airway in children and infants
CPR for children and infants
Bleeding and shock
Sudden illness (asthma, allergies, diabetes, epilepsy)
Poisonings, bites, and stings
Sprains and fractures
Heat and cold Injuries
Etc.
